"Dart.org is fine for the basic stuff, but..."
Dart.org is fine for the basic stuff, but when I was actually trying to get work done quickly, I kept getting bounced between pages looking for a straight answer. Some of the docs are helpful, but others feel vague or incomplete, and it gets frustrating fast. What bothered me most was the feeling that certain gaps were brushed off with a kind of “that’s just the policy/process” excuse instead of giving practical guidance. If you already know Dart, it’s probably okay, but as a dev trying to move fast, it definitely slowed me down more than it helped.
"Upgrade went fine, until the package issues"
The migration itself was okay, nothing too painful there. But once I started checking everything after the upgrade, a few packages broke or had compatibility issues, which got a bit messy to sort out

"Package ecosystem feels a bit limited"
Dart itself is solid, but the package ecosystem on dart.org still feels kinda small compared to what I’m used to. Some packages seem outdated, the docs aren’t always great, and I’m often digging through GitHub issues just to figure out if something’s still being maintained. It works fine enough for Flutter stuff most of the time, but once you step outside that, it gets annoying quickly.

"Pretty confusing for beginners"
I tried using dart.org to learn Dart, and I got lost almost right away. It feels like every programming doc assumes you already know everything, and this one was no different. The info seemed scattered, and the examples didn’t really explain what was going on. Maybe it works fine for people who already code all day, but as a beginner it was just frustrating.
"Flutter integration was frustrating"
I tried working through the Flutter integration, it still felt confusing at times. I got through parts of it, but it wasn’t as straightforward as I expected

"Dart felt a bit sluggish for me"
I tried using DART on a small project, it just didn’t feel as smooth as I was hoping. The builds seemed kind of heavy, the runtime felt a little slower than expected, and debugging would lag here and there. Maybe I was missing something or maybe it works better in other setups, but for me it ended up being more frustrating than it felt worth.

"I tried to keep up with DART, but..."
I tried to keep up with DART, but the release pace feels random sometimes. I’ll be in the middle of a project, then an update changes something and throws off my whole flow. And when the docs or packages haven’t caught up yet, come on now, that just gets frustrating. I’m sure it works fine for some people, but for my projects it’s been more annoying than helpful.

"Helpful docs, but the web setup got a little messy"
I used dart.org while I was trying to put together a small web project, and overall it helped me get moving. The guides were useful, and most of the examples made sense once I got into them.
That said, some of the web stuff felt a bit scattered when I ran into build errors and that kind of thing. I ended up clicking around and searching more than I expected. It’s not bad at all, just wasn’t as smooth as I hoped.

"Docs were confusing and I couldn’t reach anyone"
I found the docs confusing. The examples didn’t really clear things up for me, and what made it more frustrating was that there didn’t seem to be any real person to talk to. I kept going in circles trying to figure things out on my own.

"Tooling still feels a little sketchy"
I really wanted to like Dart more than I did, but the tooling kept giving me reasons to side-eye it. It’s not awful or anything, but after a while I started wondering if I was fighting my setup more than actually writing code.
VS Code support is fine when it behaves, but I kept running into slow analysis, stale hints that wouldn’t refresh, and weird formatter stuff that made me think, “Okay, what’s it doing now?” IntelliJ felt a bit more stable, but still not as polished as I expected.
The docs on dart.org are decent for the basics, but when it comes to IDE setup or troubleshooting tool issues, things feel scattered. Maybe I just hit a bad streak, but it happened enough that I got suspicious of the whole workflow and stopped reaching for Dart on smaller projects.

"Too unreliable when I needed it"
I kept running into random issues with DART loading slowly or not working properly, especially when I actually needed to use it. A few pages felt flaky, and I had to refresh multiple times just to get things to load. I’m sure some people may have a smoother experience, but I can see other customers getting frustrated by the same thing. For an official site, I expected it to be a lot more stable

"The syntax explanations just didn’t click for me"
I tried learning Dart through dart.org, but the way the syntax was explained felt kind of all over the place to me. A few examples made sense, but overall I kept feeling like I was missing some basic context. Maybe it works better if you already have programming experience, but from my perspective it didn’t feel very beginner friendly and I ended up more confused than when I started.

"Support from the community felt really slow"
I asked for help a couple of times and the replies I got were vague. I don’t mind waiting a bit, and it’s not even about needing an instant answer, but the whole process just felt slow and not very helpful.

"Server side still feels bit half baked"
I tried using DART for some backend stuff, but it didn’t feel all that ready to me. The docs were kind of thin, and package support wasn’t really there for what I needed. After few days of messing with it, I ended up switching to another option

"I’ve been on dart.org a lot lately..."
I’ve been on dart.org a lot lately. Mostly trying to get my head around null safety. The docs help. A few pages get a bit too technical, especially if you’re new. But the examples usually clear things up. Null safety has already saved me from some annoying bugs. Not perfect. Still a good experience.

"Kind of Works, Kind of Drives Me Nuts"
I like that it’s supposed to work across different devices, and when it does, it’s handy. But the setup has been annoying enough that I never know if I’m about to have a smooth experience or spend 20 minutes troubleshooting something random. It’s not terrible, just frustratingly inconsistent
